Following several letters regarding broadband speeds around the Parish, we have received the following information from the Better Broadband for Norfolk Programme Director.
“As you know the detailed planning has been underway for the next Better Broadband for Norfolk rollout. I expect the survey work in the Cringleford area to be complete by end March, although please be aware Covid-19 may impact.
Once survey is complete, I’ll be able to confirm which properties will be covered. There are State aid rules which govern, where public subsidy can be used. Once I have the data, I’ll drop you a list of the properties I expect to be covered.
Implementation usually occurs within 9 months of survey completion, but this does depend on the scale and type of work required and whether for instance, whether road closures are required.
