We have received the sad news that there have been at least two dog attacks at the Mill Pond, by Newmarket Road and The Loke, in the last couple of weeks. Both a cygnet and an adult swan have been attacked and seriously wounded, and the adult sadly did not survive.
This is on top of reports of attacks on sheep by a dog in a very nearby area, which we raised in our newsletter last year.
Please ensure that you keep your dogs under control at all times.
