You may recall some time ago we told you we had received agreement under the Parish Partnership Scheme to improve safety at the junction of Keswick Road and Intwood Road, following several accidents.  Norfolk County Council and Cringleford Parish Council agreed to fund this important work 50% each.

The first stage, to install speed humps to slow traffic approaching the junction, was completed in early summer.

The second stage was to remove the large hedge at the corner of the junction which blocked visibility for drivers and pedestrians coming out of Intwood Road. This work has been carried out this week, with a smaller hedge being planted further back from the road.  This has significantly improved the sight-line coming out of the junction.

Cringleford Parish Council gives huge thanks to the residents of this house who let us remove their hedge to make the junction safer for everyone.
