NCC have confirmed they will be commencing work on the long awaited footway refurbishment scheme from 26 July.
The work is funded by the additional £1.5m Member allocated revenue funding 2016/17 for highway maintenance and small projects.
The work has deliberately been programmed for the school summer holidays to minimise any disruption, but there will invariably be some disruption at peak times due to the volume of traffic that use Newmarket Road/Colney Lane, and to a lesser degree, Intwood Road.
