Highways have sent the following notice, for parishioner information:
“Cringleford: Newmarket Road Footway Resurfacing
Works will begin on or soon after Monday 9th October 2017 to replace the pavement along Newmarket Road from Jewsons to The Ridings junction. The works are expected to take 3 weeks to complete.
Works will involve replacing broken kerbs. The footway will then be reconstructed. Traffic management will be via a traffic light control system.
Vehicular access to properties will be maintained during the works and disruption will be kept to a minimum. The County Council thanks people for their patience while this pavement improvement work is underway.
The work which will cost £16,611.00 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
