Just an update on any playground repairs. As ever, we know this is a slow process and it frustrates us as much as it does you. But it does take time for quotes to be sought, the parts to be ordered, and then the work to be booked in.
The Willow Centre:
Basketball hoop – installed and ready to use!
Roundabout – resurfacing booked mid-April (ground needs to be dry)
Zip wire – booked for mid-March
Recreation Ground (Oakfields Road)
Basketball hoop – hoop replaced. The backboard was booked in for last week but the ground was too wet for the company to access the field. Re-booked for mid-March.
Swing replacement – options being approved in March . The basket swing should be replaced with a double frame, holding a basket swing and a standard swing, for more play options.
Climbing frame ladder – repaired and open for use
Zip wire – repaired and open for use
