Norfolk County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order affecting the A11 Newmarket Road from its junction with A11 Thickthorn Roundabout for 2100m eastwards in the Parish of Cringleford to facilitate roundabout resurfacing works. The Road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be between 20:00 and 06:00 from 7th to 21st July 2025, but may continue to be closed/restricted until the 1st September 2025 where the closure is still required beyond the anticipated dates.
Please note that the closure will only be in force from Monday to Friday.
Alternative route is via: Newmarket Road, Daniels Road, Lakenham Road, Hall Road, Barrett Road, Martineau Lane, Loddon Road, A47 (Cringleford, Hethersett, Trowse with Newton, Kirby Bedon, Keswick and Intwood, Postwick with Witton, Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley, Ketteringham).
