PART TIME CARETAKER
Cringleford Parish Council is recruiting for a caretaker to work across its three buildings in Cringleford.
The post is 24 hours per week, with opportunity for overtime to cover sickness and annual leave. You will be given your shifts at least three weeks in advance, which will be split as follows:
Majority of the time – 3x weekly caretaking shift at The Willow Centre. The Willow Centre opens from 8am – 12.30am and the shifts could be anywhere in that time frame, though usually evenings and weekends.
When required – covering our cleaners absence at The Jubilee Centre and the Pavilion.
We are looking for a self-motivated, hard working person who will ensure that the buildings are kept in clean and safe order and who is happy working alone. The most important skill we are looking for is excellent customer care when dealing with our customers.
Pay Scale 6 (£13.47 per hour, pay award due 1 April 2026). A generous annual leave allowance and membership of the Norfolk Pension Fund scheme are available. Free parking at all sites.
