We are delighted at how popular the clothing banks at The Willow Centre have proven to be the last couple of years. They are emptied weekly by Scope and the area is given a tidy at the same time.
Disappointingly, on occasion, other waste is also left which Scope cannot take, as seen on the photos. This means the Parish Council has to pay to collect and dispose of it. This in turn could lead to us having to put our precept up to cover the additional costs, which you parishioners pay through your council tax.
Please do ensure that you only leave clothes and shoes in the banks, and no other items around them. If the banks are full when you arrive then please try again the following week, by which time they should have been emptied.
