Thank you all for your patience! We are aware that playground repairs take a while, but it a long process to get quotes from specialists and then wait for the contractor to book the work in.
That said, some positive news with most works now being booked in:
Recreation ground – various works are due; these have been booked in over two days in mid-December and early January.
Castle playground- the swing should be repaired this coming Monday
The Willow Centre playground roundabout- the roundabout has sadly had to be removed due to vandalism – unfortunately someone decided to pull up most of the safety flooring underneath it. Due to the cost of the flooring an insurance claim has had to be submitted. We have a quote and will book repairs once the insurance company has investigated. Once the flooring is resurfaced we can replace the roundabout.
The Willow Centre basketball hoop – new hoop should go in early January
The Willow Centre bike repair station – now repaired and ready for use.
