We are very disappointed to report that, between the afternoon of 15 May and the morning of 18 May, the safety surfacing under the roundabout at The Willow Centre playground was vandalised again, just a month after being repaired.
The previous repair – also brought about by vandalism – cost £800. Every time vandalism occurs it costs you, our parishioners, through the precept. Therefore if you have any information regarding who is carrying out these acts it is important that you pass the information on. This has been reported to the police, and our CCTV is being checked. We had marked the area off with hazard tape, as the roundabout now can’t be used again. Unfortunately someone has chosen to remove the safety tape and so the area will now need to be fenced off. Please do not remove any safety items that the Parish Council installs however much you want to use the equipment – these would not be put up unless necessary.
