You may recall a few weeks ago we reported that the zipwire seat on the playground near The Willow Centre had been damaged by a dog repeatedly using it as a toy – with the owner sadly being seen encouraging the dog to do this.
Despite our notices the damage continued and yesterday we had to remove the seat as it was damaged beyond repair. The seat has – on this occasion – been replaced. However these seats cost £300 and if the attacks continue Council will have to make a decision on whether to replace it again.
In the meantime if you see the dog vandalising the seat please report this immediately to The Willow Centre or the police on 101.
